Who Agrees That You Should Get A Function To Make Your Own Map And Share Online

I think that you should be able to make your make your own map .You should be able to choose from maps size -Small Medium
and Large. When you click a map sizeand it loads a empty map with a border with your curser in the middle. When you right click a tool menu opens up on the side with stuff like a platform tool, sculting tools, spawns, etc.Really I think this is a good idea Reply if you have any comments .
Not a bad idea to have a built-in map editor ala the "other" game, but other things are more important first like fixing bugs, adding other requested features like weapons, utilities, etc.

I think a built in map editor and a built in voice pack maker would be realy awesome.

A map editor would be reasonable, but a voice pack editor? No, there are tons of free tools available that can be used for such things (such as Audacity). Voicepacks are just directories with sound files - no special files to edit.

Well, actually I would like a recorded normal voice to work on. When you have a crappy microphone and you want to record your voice in order to make this and that with it, it turns out choppy, full of noise, cracking sounds and so on... Not saying anything about an editor, since - as you have mentioned - there are tons of free audio editing tools (which reminds me that I just found an amazing tool for free and for Linux and MacOS - http://ardour.org/). And again - a clean voice record would be nice. Something like the hats-scheme (posted in the Audio&Graphics-section) - you take it and you start working on it.

-wrong post sry ^^-
a build in mapeditor isnt as important as a P2p-function that selfmade levels(with what proggy ever) will load up to other computers automaticly... so that you dont have to download the maps, you know?
Many people sayed that i should suggest that in forum. Well, i did several times sinse 0.9.7...

oops sorry meant like official way to add a new voice pack directory for people who don't want to muck about doing it manualy. Maybe a tutorial as well on the wiki. It would add to the complete feel of the game as being more proffesional. Also what happened to construction mode is that anywhwehere near finished? has development even started?

The official way to add voice packs is submitting them by posting them here on the forums and asking for inclusion.
Sharing custom/missing files (especially levels; "map editor" maps excluded) between clients:
I thought about this some time ago and even started to implement it, however there's one huge disadvantage: No content control.
Doesn't sound that bad at first but (in theory) could get you into some sort of serious trouble:
What if someone includes copyrighted art into maps? Or adult materials? In some countries you might even violate copyright laws just by downloading such "maps" without knowing their real contents. I know lots of games featuring such on-demand downloads, like Warcraft III or different FPS, however especially games like WC3 feature a rather limited range of possibilities regarding arts (reusing premade assets rather than including pictures/images as maps).
Some kind of official repository (including moderated/controlled uploads) where you can download and install new maps using one click might be a better solution.
the content thing shouldnt be a problem for you cause you dont share copyrighted arts,
cause they are not included by downloading the game here...

It's a problem for the players who will download the map in order to play it with the player who offers it (who might actually know that copyrighted material are included in his/her work).
And no, it is a problem for the developers too. A more drastic example would be torrent tracker. It is said in the tracker's policy that uploading copyrighted content is strictly forbidden. And yet people do that (the staff behind the tracker doesn't usually mind that as long as a profit from ads etc. is made and there is not too much of a fuss about that). Making it possible to transfer copyrighted art via Hedgewars might make big problems and as usual some slimy fag*ot might say "Eeeh, you guys are making it possible that your players share my art without my permission. Remove this feature or I'll beat the cr*p out of you.". This will turn Hedgewars into a mini art-tracker. As Smaxx mentioned, adult content can also be shared. Would you allow your children (if you have any) to play a game where they might download big boobs and shaking booties? I hope not.
You see, Thomas, it isn't as simple as you think it is. The official repository that Smaxx suggested is a much better idea and offers the most important thing - moderation of the art.
