I've been trying to make a Hedgewars video by recording. I can't find a good recording program for it though Sad Smiley . So I was wondering which program everyone else uses. Girder Girder

There are different programs out there (especially if you're running Windows):
- Fraps (probably the best one; but you have to pay to get an unlimited version; the free one limits you to 30 seconds recording time each video)
- GameCam (a little bit slower than Fraps but creates compressed videos (so takes less space); commercial too; free version has an ugly watermark)
- WeGame (haven't tried this one yet but it's free)
- Xfire (free as well but video quality isn't that great depending on the game)

There are probably others as well (think there are at least 1-2 open source projects) but haven't tried those.

Try Jing! It's pretty good as a recording program for Mac OS X.

I recently got Fraps. Do any of you know some good programs that can compress it into a smaller file? Geek
