Wheres the location of the debug files on linux systems?

Hi,
I installed Hedgewars from the repositories and all worked fine. Now I installed a newer Version from this homepage and my game crashes every 5 min. By "Crashes" I mean that during a game I suddently fall back to the menu. The menu works fine and I can start another game for the next 5 minutes..

All other stuff like graphics, sounds etc work perfect.

I'd like to play this version because otherwise I wouldn't be able to play online.

Do you have any idea what's wrong?

Hi, i've found this game some days ago, and it's really nice.

But i've found that while using the rope, when I stretch it, the fps drops to less than 15. Because of that I can't control the rope and the game isn't playable without it.
Can anyone confirm this too

Im having trbls while launching Hedgewars 0.9.10
I start any kind of game and it open a new window with the loading hedgehog and it load for some secs (until first spike on his back appears)
And then the window shuts down and i return to the regulare start game screen.

Its the same on both my coms using vista and xp sp3 on them.

I have no problems running 0.9.9 on any of my coms

The debug dont say much abt it and its almost the same on both coms. If wanted I can post it to its kinda long
