Hello there!

I've only just come across the game, and I'm already very impressed with quite how close it is already to emulating the look and feel of Worms. Smile

Apart from the more evident issues that are obviously still in development, one thing that stands out as being missing to me is the ability to jump backwards by double-tapping the Enter key, which gives a short backwards hop in Worms. The forward jump, upward jump and full backflip all seem to function, so I wonder if there's a plan to add this in the future?

Anyway, I'll get back to playing it for now - again, great work with the game so far! Smile

Double Backspace? Smile It does exactly the same thing only without the fancy flipping in mid-air. Wink Smiley

No, I do mean double Enter. Smile

In Worms, it performs a sort of little backwards hop; just enough to, for instance, jump onto the head of a worm standing by you, where a full forwards jump is angled too low to get past, and a full backflip would just be a little excessive (and time-wasting!)

I used it a lot to get about the level efficiently in Worms. Smile

Well, I think single Backspace is intended to do that but somehow (at least I can't figure out) it doesn't work that way. What it makes is a single small jump upwards. I really don't see the point of it except shortening the distance when using rope (where a double jump works better). Sad Smiley I like the small jump backwards too and it's very useful.

Maybe we'll add this to 0.9.12 :P just because you're new

The upwards jump (single backspace) is primarily useful when one of your worms/hogs is standing on top of another, and you want to put the current character on top quickly (or especially if for some reason it's not advantageous to move left or right, due to mines, deadly falls, etc.!) Smile

Well, when I noticed the lacking double enter jump, I thought "strange, but they probably did that so we can quickly jump away from a dropped bomb by bashing the enter key and without risking to suddenly jump back instead of away from the bomb"...

I'm not against a back jump or something, but maybe it should be shift + enter not double enter,
just my opinion though.

Talking about jumps, I am missing the ability to trigger the kamikaze attack in mid-air ;) (thanks unC0Rr!)
