whenever i try to download hedgewars it either says: componnents mis-match exit is the only option or dosent work i need help i read the faq but i dont understand 2 words!!!
Try one of the mirrors and make sure you click the link for Windows. There shouldn't be any issues. If your internet connection isn't quite stable or you can't manage to get the whole file at once, use some download manager, such as Free Download Manager.
If it did, you'd see hundreds of people complaining already, even if it was a false positive.
All of this to say that question doesn't really make sense. :P
i tryed fire fox same thing "commponets mis match blah-blah-blah"i hate my computer! i cant wait till my bro gives me back my laptop and i get windows 7 install disk
I really has nothing to do with the OS, if i had to make a wild guess I'd say "broken" RAM, but since you say you're not having any other issues or crashes in other applications at all idk.
Use torrent client like µtorrent and download the game using the torrent files on donload page. even when something will interrupt the download it can be restarted and it will be ok for sure because you will have the same files as over hundred people

Well i havent told you guys but it works on my laptop my mom gave me and well :L dunno if its a new vershion or the laptop but it works oh and i didnt have it installed untill this post
Nice, I'll tell you something: Just copy the installation folder (where you installed hedgewars) 1:1 to your other computer. You should be able to play it then.
well my laptop had like 8134 viruses or somthing and we went to go get fixed and it hasnt came back :P
*EDIT* okay so he wasnt able to fix it so im waiting till cristmas to get a toshiba windows 7 laptop :L
I have no idea what to do in this situatuion. Get your laptop to somebody who's a techie? like maybe a (what age ARE you?) freind who knows what he was doing.

What about the computer you're using right now? Is it just hedgewars that has problems? Do you know if you're behind a proxy? Or if your firewall is blocking it?

No, but i have a online game called "roblox" amd it looses connection to servers alot
Try downloading the game with another browser too just in case.

my comp used to have a virus but ya know sent it to the shop, fixed it, start over. maby its that?
If it was literally FIXED (not reformatted + clean install) that reason might be the biggest suspect for now i guess.
