It's good :-) Nicely done.
One improvement i think would be to create a White theme also that way the text will show up better at the top and bottom and you may be able to lower the water slightly.

Not bad for the first version.
What it needs the most right now is a better background, this one kills the theme dead. Makes it too boring and doesn't go well with the blue text.

I wish this looked more like the google logo with the 3d-ness and font and whatnot, this one looks kind of plain, good, but like windows 2k compared to windows vista/7
Granted it wouldn't go with HW style, but it'd be fun to play nonetheless, and another hedgewars-y one could be made for it to be included, no?
I tried doing the shadows but it didnt work so well. It looked good but hedgehogs could get stuck on it
