I have an EEEpc would be nice to play it full screen at 800x480

SDL should provide information for all resolutions, hedgewars just asks SDL for the list of resolutions. So, it's SDL's deal to provide info about 800x480... The engine and frontend support such resolution.
I tried on the eeepc it auto detects the res as you said, plays lovely even at underclocked stock speed.
Do you have the binary for Xandros ? I cant compile it because the pascal compiler.
