I was thinking we should create another thread for ONLY previews and download link for hats.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I find it VERY hard to look through all the hats there many comments and replies.
The crater of the hat would post the hat in both the new thread and in the one. This thread would be more comments and advice. and the new one solely for links and previews.
I'm not graphical dude but I have few ideas. First being Southpark characters hats and maybe even other cartoons (simpsons, familyguy etc). Second one: Power rangers.
Oh. It's Fine and Funny, but I kinda like the hats that are kinda "Exclusive" for the game... I mean, maybe not too many hats based in OTHER characters?
Despite, that i'm a little tired of seeing some characters EVERYWHERE, even in H.W
As a general advice, remember that from 0.9.14 onwards the size of Hedgehogs idle.png animation and, in consequence, hats images, have changed.
I've updated my hat SVG template to match the new size, should any of you be using it.
I've noticed that the size differs, but it doesn't matter to me because the old hat size still works. (I'm glad of that because I would've had to redo a LOT of hats, including my P.A.O.T.H. helmets. )

As to why i don't try to do it on my own, its a mixture of lazyness, not knowing how, and probably lack of skill.

You keep asking for this. I didn't have an svg for him, but I fired up gimp, overlaidd Idle.png, used gimp colour select on the spines, desaturated, copied to new layer, then in colour levels dragged green way over to left and value way over to right.
Hey, I noticed that in version 9.15 the team hat tinting is all wrong. for example, say my team color is blue, the tinted hats on my hogs are purple. And with the purple team the tinting is orange! It would be nice if this was fixed.

I've been browsing through all of these awesome hats, and the ones I really think stand out and should be included are:
*Troll face (It's just...so...strangely satisfying)
*Mr. Needlemouse
*The Kitty hats
*The emotion hats (like the happy and sad and mad and stuff ones)
*Octopus
*Smurf (definitely)
*Giant eye
*Magical Trevor
There are others which I think are great and should be included, but these ones stuck out to me.
These are great, nice job. Only complaint is that one or two of them don't quite cover the hedgehog spikes, and the hat images are the wrong size (should be 64x512 instead of 32x1024).

In the new release, you can have hats that are tinted by the teams colors, right? I was wondering how you made those hats, I can't seem to figure out.
I've remade my beaver hat a bit.
Look at the team hats in the hats folder. I'd say it was possibly the second extra identical row with the bits wished to be team colors only.
Try copy what they did, I guess. No clue.

Redoing isn't that big a deal, is just adding a 2nd column. szczur has a script for it he can run if you ask him nicely.
Resizing was as a favour to people on machines limited to 512x512 texture sizes.
