Here is what i got when i tried to start the game:

ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:874: (snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
Floating point exception

That only happens when i try to start the game at the same time i am using some music player. I know that some programs get no sound when i try to do that, but shouldn't the game start normally but with no sound?
If i deselect the sound options then the game starts (with the "..unable to openn slave"), but if i select it it closes by the same problem.

Sorry to bother you, but whenver I try to play a game everything but the water, the hedgehogs, and the mines are pure white. Needless to say, it's impossible to play like this.

I have an onboard Radeon and the computer was bought... 4 years or so I guess? Do I have to have a better computer?

I just installed Hedgewars but the game doesn't start for me. I'm using ATI Radeon 9000 using the radeon free driver.

Does anyone have an idea what the cause could be?

How demanding are the hedgewars graphics on the video hardware? My video card's temperature goes to 95C within minutes of playtime, and I'm guessing it's a hardware issue rather than the game being very demanding, but I'd like a confirmation on the later

First of all, hedgewars is a great game, I like it a lot.
Anyway, I was trying to set up a lan game so I could play with my daughter (who loves them hedgehogs), but hedgewars 0.9.9 keeps saying

'Error: Bad command, state or incorrect parameter'

Any ideas?
