Love all of them But I have a question here: is the white thing on his mouth his lips or his teeth?
1.If it's teeth, then the last image (the one that represents pain and suffering by falling or rolling ) needs some fixing since I don't think it's cool to be in pain and smile with 'em shiny teeth
2.If it's lips, than it'll be better to paint them in some kind of pale pink or lite brown (like by a real black dude; there are also with very dark brown lips, but you won't be able to recognize the mouth in the game when you use this hat).

Them are teeth. And as far as i remember, hat is not drawn during falling animation.

I also made a colorful peacedude hat but forgot mah flashcrap at home . So it'll come later.

PS: I never got it why when a hedgehog jumps, rolls or falls, the hat disappears...Looks strange to me.

This is simple blink. As for other anim like falling and rolling, it'll come for sure. Some other day. At first hats even disappeared when it's his turn.

I've just noticed the cool idle animation by the alien-hat (the green one-eyed thing on the head) - it's so cool The hedgehog has some zombie-style breathing, has shadows under the eyes and dull, and scared expression on the face. Also noticed the fact that the alien thing on the head is moving its small antennas.

Ah, one more thing. Since I've formatted my hard drive and formatted "accidently" one partition that was with art materials, I've lost my HW-drawings Sorry about that. Now I really don't have the time since I'm not THAT productive like Dr.Dickens for example when it comes to drawing on a PC (I'm more of a paper-pencil-guy ). One of my things was based on a new hat. A musketeer. Can describe it precisely if any of you guys wants to draw it. I can provide some hand-drawn sketches too. I was also working on 2 themes - science theme (took some of the things that I saw in the theme-tutorial - dunno why you've decided to remove math-based-theme from the equation ) and a space theme. No music though. I still have some sketches for these somewhere here too.

EDIT: Great. Tommoro the scanned sketches will be online. Removed some math-elements and made the one theme completely about computers Don't know what to put for a background though...By the space theme I'll try to find the author of the space-background (like in Cogs)...Think it was Josh but I might be mistaken. And after all - these are just sketches

Looks too plain. You shoulda add some shadows to make it look more like a sphere, rather then a simple red circle. And it would be better to use full cover (face and spikes, not face only). Oh and you can take shadowing example from this .
PS. They were kinda enemies or something?

Nice idea, but the perspective is somehow wrong.

There is a hog wearing a hat that looks like black sun glasses already. Shouldn't be too hard to repaint them and/or use those as a template.

Still need fixing. I advice you to look at some buildings...The frame is correct, the red-blue-glass is totally wrong. Here's an example (the upper lines of the glasses aren't that correct but...damn that Paint ).
