I was thinking about a transformation weapon (ie : the hedgehog is the weapon). Somothing like a sumo transformation : The hedgehog become a little bigger and his shape rounder and he rolls in the direction chosen when firing. Doing this, he does little damage (10, for exemple) but he push others hedgehogs and make them roll.
We can stop it pressing space again or it end after some seconds.
(my english must be quite bad, ask for explanations if you dont understand)
DONKEY, (or some more appropriate animal, Like a Statue of a Hog), I don't know what language this is written in, But i would assume this would be a more simple weapon to do as its basically a falling sprite, But its a good weapon.
A molotov cocktail (with flames that last for a few turns, if possible)
Something like the Mad Cow herd from worms (1-5 cows walk forward and explode when they hit a wall or hog)
And a crossbow (Three shots, 7-10 damage each, arrows stay stuck in ground)
We must think of the strategicall aspect as well. How about having a weopen that launches worms very very far away but doesent take any dammage at all ? We could have baked beans bombs. It is a outdated can of baked beans that you turn on fire like a dynamite and launch. After 5 sec of fuse it will knock all the worms double as much as a holy and allso shake the ground near the edge of the shockwave so they can fall into the water. The explosion should be centerd above the can so it will be easier to send worms flying into the stratosphere down into a wet death (i mean hedgesoliders of course what is worms ?)
This is not a weapon idea, but still an idea, for me anyway, it would be useful if the chat wrote any messages in the color of the team who wrote the message, although i don't know if the chat would still be fully visible against the background.

Gumball bomb / Iceball bomb:
You throw a little ball which keeps getting bigger as long as it touches the ground, absorbing things on its way down. If it gets big enough it could absorb mines or even hedgehogs (or just push them off limits).
Not very usefull nowadays, but could be lots onf fun when larger maps are ready.

I have an idea. When the piano hits the ground, an amount of piano keys will fly around and when they hit something, they'll explode (with some kind of sound like false note ).

Sometimes you just need to push someone down somewhere near a hole where the whip would let the hog fly too far to the other side of the hole, this is when pushing would come in handy. And I already missed it on several occasions.

One shotgun is enough I think. If they start making 3-4 variations of each weapon:
1)the more weapons we have (+ their variations), the bigger the weapon list gets...So soon it'll be a total disaster if you have to choose between 2-3 types of one single weapon and you have 15-20 weapons... Oo
2)2 shots with 2 bullets in each shot doing 35 dmg...That should make 140dmg...You can't convince me that a shotgun does more dmg than a TNT on your head... If there are anymore small arms, it should be a sniper (with very precise aiming on very long distances) and some kind of machine gun or Uzi.

I don't think that Deagle and Shotgun is quite the same because both are altering the langscape and Deagle can hurt your own hogs if they are on the other side of the hole. But indeed I use Deagle quite often for purposes where prod would fit in.

Anyway, you could be able to adjust the spread. If you just tap it, it would go rather condensed. The longer you hold space, the bigger the spread. Would work like this:

Ninja Stars - throws a burst of ninja stars (5 should be enough, imo) in target direction over a short period of time - you throw all in one series, not 2 here and 3 there. While throwing, you can just adjust the angle. Stars should stick to and stay on the terrain.

Taser - shoots 2 electric needles at the target, dealing some damage overtime and causing it to shake around from shock (along with some neat sound and SFX, maybe visible bones, like on rentgen? ^^).

Some hopping animal - we need some jumping, merry animal, which explodes in the end! Worms had a cow and sheeps, what could the hedgehogs have? A rabbit? Raccoon? Frog?
If you click on the language menu in the left panel at the bottom you'll see that there is an English article
It'll be nice. btw I've always wondered why the hell does the shotgun shoot straight ahead like some kind of normal rifle or pistol. Usually this weapon shoots in a big area in front of it. That's why it SHOULD be very inaccurate on large distances.

I espacially like this one! And I think it increases strategic possibilities. And it's still not overpowered, because you lose a turn for that. (If still someone thinks it is overpowered, maybe sent the new hedgehog down with only 80% of life-points of a fresh one. For example at the beginning every hog had 100, this one will have 80)
An improvemtent idea for the reinforcements. To make it less deadlier, let the paradropped hedghog has limited weapons' set (for example only granade, shotgun and pistol; or maybe even 1 superweapon) and dies after n rounds. Some kind of SAS or Seals (maybe even КГБ ).

I agree with that, I hate it when people rope over and place grenades/melon bombs/devilish grenades/etc. These weapons should be THROWN!
Grenades in particular should be more powerful the longer they've been in the air, and if placed on the ground should lose a lot of their power IN the ground (like real life).
There is a reason why the military use weapons that detonate in the air and not at ground level (MOAB, Bouncing Betty, etc). It would be great if this could be emulated in HW
Well I just took a very fast look over all the posts, so forgive me if a similiar weapon was already suggested ...
My idea is a "iron hedgehog ball" -> so the hedgehog becomes a ball and rolls down the hill.
All hedgehogs standing there are hit and thrown up in the air. ( 10 points damage (?) ) and the hedgehog gets normal after 5 seconds (if it hasn't fallen into water or has been hurt by a mine or whatever)
On the idea of "rolling down the hill" - as the weapon should work in all cases you could give the hedgehog a crosshair to select the direction of the rolling (left or right) so there is already a start speed.
This sounds like Kamikaze but without the awesome suicide effect at the end What if we have a completely flat terrain (might not happen, but IS possible)? This weapon becomes useless. So better make the ball obay player's control - right arrow to roll to the right and left arrow to roll to the left (like walking, but here we have rolling + throwing in the air ). Nice idea. And there'll be finally a real use of the - view

My idea is simple. A giant hedgehog controlled like a normal hedgehog. The giant hedgehog stomps all over the other hedgehogs. It does 20-30 damage and lasts for about 5 seconds.
EDIT: And to keep it from being too overpowered it cannot destroy land.

My other idea is a little strange. The idea is a ufo comes by and abducts a hedgehog. Then ,one team later, it comes back and drops it in the same spot and does double damage for that drop.

No the hedgehog can only roll on ground or fly in sky but not drill in the ground hmm.... think about bowling on hills with a boost ^^
How about an expanding foam? Like the stuff that comes in an aerosol that you spray into cavities and it goes hard after a while. So once this stuff sets it becomes apart of the landscape kinda like girders. So you'd aim this like you would the ballgun and spray it on someone and cover them then they'd be stuck so they'd either have to teleport out or blowtorch etc. There'd obviously be a delay on it to stop people covering a few HEDGEHOGS at the start making it unfair.

I would to see the first line of worms utils, like Jetpack, Low Gravity, fast movements and "Viewfinder"
I miss also Bunjee jumping a bit...

Some poisoned apple could be nice too, then hedge is sick until death (decreasing every round).
