I agree with Nobody, It's generally a fun Weapon, To be honest there's no point removing it, if it's not like by the majority, Keep it in the game, just don't include it in any of the default Weapon Sets.

The version of the sine-gun currently in the repository was just a quick preview of some random idea. It's not a beta or even alpha of the actual weapon (also it lacks graphics), just a quick mock-up.
That's why I don't want that in the release too.
I've been trying to implement the sine-gun in a clean, pretty and actual useful way (I'm to lazy to tell you all the details here tbh :P), but as you can tell from the commit history I wasn't able to participate in development at all for the last weeks.
I hope I'll get around to code the real sine-gun soon, but whether that will be before the next release or after I cannot say.

Also I think a land making tool shold be added. Like you shoot like the flame thrower, and it hardens after 3 (or maybe a user set amount (with 1-5)). I also like sdw195's water gun to put out fire idea.

A quick-set cement gun? Sounds fun! I wonder if you would use it more to make new roads or bury the enemy hogs...
A land maker? AWESOME. It should act like gel for 2 turns or so nd then harden. Hogs that step on it while it is gel slowly sink into it if they don't move fast enough.
Also, when it is solid, it should not stop flames (they could burn all the way through)
What would you guys think of a dynamite or mine launcher? Or any other weapon launcher? I think it would be useful to be able to shoot those weapons that you normally have to be so close to use. It would be hard to aim, but I think it would be a good addition.

Both the flamethrower and the "mine launcher" have already been implemented in the development version.
Don't think anyone plans to introduce another "explosive gun" right now. As mentioned, there will be the flame thrower to and there's already the ball gun as well as the mine strike. Oh ... and talking about throwing mines or a mine thrower. 0.9.14 will feature "Sticky Mines" - they work similar to classic mines but do less damage. As an added bonus they're really sticky (attach to terrain as well as other hedgehogs) and you're able to throw two within one turn similar to grenades.
what about a sentry gun (shoots at any moving enemy hedgehog in his own turn) or magnets like in worms reloaded! this items bring new tactics for the game, and bring a lot of fun to play with!

DRIVE-BY! shoots across the map through a straight, user defined line,damaging walls and hogs. Luck defined on what weapon (most common to rarest)pistol,mini uzi, sniper, mines, bazooka, homing bees (auto-lock on to enemies), minigun, ballgun, sticky ballgun. just like getting a chopper gunner in a care package in Modern Warfare 2.
what I miss in Hedgewars, and I know it has been mentioned before in this thread, is something like the uzi in worms. At the moment you only have the shotgun, the desert eagle and the sniper rifle for "gunfights".
It would be cool to have a machine gun or maybe even a minigun (more powerful, can be found in crates).
The name could be "Submachine gun" (SMG), "Uzi", "Machinegun" or "Assault Rifle". I think it should deal a little more damage than the shotgun (around 55-60), because it is more difficult to hit with all bullets (depends where the target stands - every hit "moves" the target a little away from the shooter). The best position to use the SMG is when the enemy hedgehog stands in front of a wall/object, so he can not move too far away while being hit.
The "Minigun" oder "Gatling Gun" should be like the SMG, but does more damage. Bullets pierce through hedgehogs so you can hit more hedgehogs in one use. Should have a little recoil.
To my I would like to see a he/she arms as destructive as the infernal grenade but that it is a missile or something like that for that I as many am but effective with a bazuca that with the grenades.
Something like that as the image of the change of "harmless911" good jeje would be this way.
Because there are a lot grenades but destructive that the weapons non arrojadizas.
Weapons :
- AM bomb (Added-Matter bomb) : like a grenade, add a circle of matter in the area effect. All hedgehogs in the radius are surrounded by the matter.

- Merry Christmas : Santa Klaus flies (as the airstrike plane), dropping several crates (weapons, tools, health ...)
- Hoguto not kenned : (for people who knows "Fist of the North Star" or "Kill Bill") contact weapon. No immediate damage, but the victim is now wounded each time it tries to move or to jump. Attack is still possible, and it is not considered as displacement action if the hedgehog is hurled due to explosion .
Tools :
- Beacon: dropped object (as mine), luring all the crate drops until its destruction.
- Building Kit : as in Worms. allow to build several girders in one turn, with a double action radius than standard girder tool.
- Scrambler : dropped object (as mine), avoiding use of guided "weapons" (also teleport-like) until its destruction
- magic mirror : the player hedgehog and the victim hedgehog exchange their ground position.
- puppeteer : move a hedgehog opponent during 3 seconds (or 5, tbd). No weapons available, you can just move it.
Level effect :
- Pandemonium : (only for underground level) permanent left or right (choice) 90° rotation of the level. Hedgehogs can fall, a little or more.
- Upside-down : (only for underground level) permanent inversion of the gravity (but the level does not change/rotate). No damage during "fall" from the bottom to the top of the level (low gravity).
- Inverse order : inverse permanently the playing order (Hedgehog 1 to Hedgehog 8 becomes Hedgehog 8 to Hedgehog 1)
- Eclipse: the complete level becomes fully black except the eyes of the Hedgehogs. Ground is still here, but can not be distinguished.
Sudden death :(all the following ideas can replace the classic water rising at the end of the match)
- Subsidence : (only for underground level) Ceiling and sides go down (trapezoid shape)
- Extinction : (only for outdoor level) a meteor falls each turn causing damages and destroying the ground.
- Damocles sword : the hedgehog, which currently plays, loose 1HP/5sec (no effect on the other hedgehogs, only on the playing hedgehog), so play quickly !
- Ice Age : ground is frozen, so impossible to destroy and very slippery, a small layer of ice appears over the water (which can be destroyed), all hedgehogs loose 1HP each turn due to cold temperature.
Game mode :
- Mercenaries : You first define the number of matches you want. Then you start by going to a shop. You have a little money and you buy the weapons you need. Then you start the real match. At the end, in function of your stats you earn some money. Then you can buy additional weapons if you want, and you start a new match, etc ... That means players don't start with the same equipment, but they start with the equipment they have chosen.
- Veteran : similar, but with a fixed amount of money (few), which can not be increased. All teams have the same (or the same before bonus / malus). Before each match, the teams can buy what they want (3mn to decide), and then they fight with the chosen weapons.
Just a small comment about sine gun :
Nice weapon idea, but not enough developped IMO. I think that the user should be able to control more the sine curve amplitude, maybe using 1-5 keys (as time for grenade), and to increase the sine curve period just pressing the space bar (as we increase the range of the bazzoka), or the opposite (amplitude with space bar, and period with 1-5) ... something like that. A sort of weapon, really hard to control, but which can reach several targets in one shot if well used.

However the hog's size adjustment and changing hog movement would be a bit more tricky.

It flies, it burps, it makes the hogs sick. And it also is not very friendly for environment.

Tools :
- Beacon: dropped object (as mine), luring all the crate drops until its destruction.
- Building Kit : as in Worms. allow to build several girders in one turn, with a double action radius than standard girder tool.
- Scrambler : dropped object (as mine), avoiding use of guided "weapons" (also teleport-like) until its destruction
- magic mirror : the player hedgehog and the victim hedgehog exchange their ground position.
- puppeteer : move a hedgehog opponent during 3 seconds (or 5, tbd). No weapons available, you can just move it.
Level effect :
- Pandemonium : (only for underground level) permanent left or right (choice) 90° rotation of the level. Hedgehogs can fall, a little or more.
- Upside-down : (only for underground level) permanent inversion of the gravity (but the level does not change/rotate). No damage during "fall" from the bottom to the top of the level (low gravity).
- Inverse order : inverse permanently the playing order (Hedgehog 1 to Hedgehog 8 becomes Hedgehog 8 to Hedgehog 1)
- Eclipse: the complete level becomes fully black except the eyes of the Hedgehogs. Ground is still here, but can not be distinguished.
Sudden death : (all the following ideas can replace the classic water rising at the end of the match)
- Subsidence : (only for underground level) Ceiling and sides go down (trapezoid shape)
- Extinction : (only for outdoor level) a meteor falls each turn causing damages and destroying the ground.
- Damocles sword : the hedgehog, which currently plays, loose 1HP/5sec (no effect on the other hedgehogs, only on the playing hedgehog), so play quickly !
- Ice Age : ground is frozen, so impossible to destroy and very slippery, a small layer of ice appears over the water (which can be destroyed), all hedgehogs loose 1HP each turn due to cold temperature.
Game mode :
- Mercenaries : You first define the number of matches you want. Then you start by going to a shop. You have a little money and you buy the weapons you need. Then you start the real match. At the end, in function of your stats you earn some money. Then you can buy additional weapons if you want, and you start a new match, etc ... That means players don't start with the same equipment, but they start with the equipment they have chosen.
- Veteran : similar, but with a fixed amount of money (few), which can not be increased. All teams have the same (or the same before bonus / malus). Before each match, the teams can buy what they want (3mn to decide), and then they fight with the chosen weapons.
Just a small comment about sine gun :
Nice weapon idea, but not enough developped IMO. I think that the user should be able to control more the sine curve amplitude, maybe using 1-5 keys (as time for grenade), and to increase the sine curve period just pressing the space bar (as we increase the range of the bazzoka), or the opposite (amplitude with space bar, and period with 1-5) ... something like that. A sort of weapon, really hard to control, but which can reach several targets in one shot if well used.

How about a utility which makes the playing hog twice as small (able to get through small gaps) but he can also jump farther and higher. Also less attack power. What do you think?
From my point of view, that will require a "re-do" of all animations, like walking, and, seems complicated to deal with the Hats... But, i'm not the guy who knows about this :P
Actually, this would be relatively simple to handle graphically, simply halving the scaling (it is all done in opengl anyway).
However the hog's size adjustment and changing hog movement would be a bit more tricky.
Doable, I think, just a bit of work.

But you know, portal gun basically has that result.
You can fire a portal gun through a drill hole, even a deagle hole. I think people forget that when they try going darkside.
