In my opinion "seduction" is too weak in hedgewars (very difficult to aim, only little effect). For this reason nobody uses it, which is a great pity. There must be a way to improve it. One example could be that every hedgehog in a certain angle is seduced. This increases its effect and makes it easier to aim.
What do you think about it? You may have better suggestions.
I agree that its use is limited, but it isn't totally useless. Quite often, you can stand on top of a hog and use seduction when fire punch or whip would it in the wrong direction.

I agree with you. But I also think that it should be easier to aim with this weopon. I allways fail if I dont stand on the other hog or use the laser.
Hate to divert from the bowling ball for a sec, but I'm new and I had an idea.
Bulls. The hog throws a crate or some other container, from which bulls emerge and running in both directions (probably four bulls, two each way) that stampede any and all hogs in the way.
The risk, of course, is being in the way of said bulls, or aiming incorrectly and having all the bulls fall into the water or just stampede aimlessly (perhaps for a limit of five seconds, after which they do a minor, hog-just-died-and-blows-itself-up type explosion) without hitting any of the hogs. I've even got a name for it.
It will work like flame strike but sprays outward from the hog, at the weapon angle, for a few seconds, creating a fountain of flame that curves downward.
The flame is wind directed so hogs will need to be very careful about pointing it.
Will eat away ground, and create voids in cliff faces. Great for spraying HOGS that are below you
if you use the wind to catch them.

Reinforcements - 'super weapon' (aka not in defaults). A plane drops you an additional hedgehog on a parachute (gotta take wind into account).
I like this but new works have the possibility of making long playing games (like shoppa) never-ending.
However other possibilities is -- clone. hog divides into two. either with same number of points each or half (rounded up) the points of the original. Multiple clones are also a possibility.
Basically give the enemy more targets to have to deal with.
On thing I did miss from worms... Balance It balances all the points in the game equally amoungst the teams. so if you only have one 'worm' left you get lots of points while those with many 'worms' get fewer points spread amongst the 'worms'.
A hedgehog varation would be to balance by hogs rather than by teams. Players with more hogs would then have more points!
The ball idea has another use. If the ball remains and can be picked up, you can create slightly different types of games. You need to get the ball to a goal!
Hogs can only pickup and carry the ball during their turn and then it gets dropped.
if it falls in or gets blown into water a new ball is put into the game at the center.
Games only end is all enemy hogs are kill or ball reaches you goal.

i think that this is a good idea, however i can see it only being aimed at the hogs and would rarely be used strait up, due to its innacuracy

There is already a flame thrower, if you build from svn (or get the build for windows, "give me head"-topic) you can test it out.
One of those hedgewars developers. I am specially knowledgeable in lua scripting, and the father of gameplay scripts.
Speed Shoes: These Red Sneakers greatly increase a hogs movement rate and give him the ability to scale walls or even climb on ceilings. This is a much enhanced version of a similar (but not very useful) item from worms.

A proximity mine that glues to the walls and can be thrown like a grenade.
Barrel delivery, a plane drops four or five barrels to a location. They don't explode when they fall.

I have a suggestion! Ton Strike, basically the plane comes by and drops a 5 ton weight on a hedgehog and crushes it so its flat, making the hog completely immobile for 5 turns (One turn for each ton, )
Boomerang: It flies kicking your target. Then goes back striking you if you haven't left you initial place. Boomerang bounces of the walls without any impact on it's speed, and also doesn't return if it hits walls on its way.
Crazy Rocket: You choose one enemy hog to which a rocket would be attached. This rocket goes somewhat straight up then it's trajectory changes continuously (so it follows some crazy lines) and at the end it blows up like some fireworks.
Just to let you know, i read this thread constantly.

I'm now thinking about the bowling ball, bulls, boomerang and fireworks, amongst others.
In terms of the suggestions above, I propose a few tweaks.

Rather than drop a crate of bulls, what if you drop a single ball that's chained to the ground, then your weapon is replaced by a red cape, hitting fire holds it up and the bull breaks free and charges at you, hitting any hogs that may be in it's way. You'll need to jump over the bull as he reaches you or you'll be hit yourself.
I like the idea of a weapon that bounces from wall to wall, but a boomerang seems a bit odd for this purpose, could we replace it with a more suitable object?

You've got violet hedgehogs going into parallel dimensions, but a boomerang bouncing off the walls is suddenly "odd"?!?!? Just kidding. No, seriously, you could change it. Maybe for some kind of animal. It may be a monkey, a kangaroo, a rabbit or even a frog (which would do nicely).
Something about boomerang: it may work only on some spacious flat surface and go cutting through walls instead. Also if you push too hard it'll just fly away.

i think we need something thats a super weapon that has to do with food, like cake, I was thinking that we should make a 'carrot drop' that has a hog in a plane fly overhead and drop carrots that explode on impact blowing up into 6 mini carrots that do 10 damage. dealing about 70 damage a carrot.I think the plane should drop 6 carrots over all, dealing about 350 damage overall. I think that, like cake, when the carrots drop the hogs make either or

the ice gun should not be very damaging - it should be able to do the following
1. Put out flames
2. Upon hitting water, create a temporary floating platform, perhaps one that is physics enabled to float away or break into pieces
2.A. The ice platform should last a full round, so that any hedgehog using it can get off before it melts
3. Upon hitting land, it should create a slippery area.This can be used to "skate" across flat land at increasing speed or to cause a hedgehog on a slope to slide down
*As a gun, this should work like the blowtorch, allowing movement and firing over a distance

Disintegration Ray - No effect on hogs, but can dissolve ground from a distance. Such as dissolving the ground above you that will make an enemy hog fall. No movements can be made after use, the turn will end.
Point of View Gun- from HHGttG. Just a fun weapon that will make hogs say some thing funny and releaving. Not a kill weapon.
Tesla Gun - Lighting arch over hills, must be aimed like a mortar. No wind effect, has small target area, but high damage. So your aim has to be right on.
Tidal Wave Machine - Will create a small wave that will wash away any hogs on one shore line. Wave will not go past the first shore line it hits.
Mini Nuke - Special drop, like dynamite, but with a mushroom cloud that will damage and a horizontal pulse that will push back hogs at a certain distance. Possibly off an edge.
Fox Hole - When you have no moves, and are left out in the open, you can hunker down and take 50% less damage until your next turn. Only 1 per team per game.
Stop Watch - That either drops like a med kit, or is in a ? box. Will add 30 seconds to your clock when used. Stored in weapos menu, or used when touched. you decide.
There is already an Additional Time utility which works just like your stopwatch.

I think you can take some weapons from game called "pocket tanks" blitwise pr,like the "stardust" weapon or "sheild"

I would love to be able to make the pick hammer and blow torch last longer so you could play in a sand pit like mode where you could make massive under ground forts for your hogs

I like the idea. Another way to add new land could be like the flame thrower but with ice. So you could spray walls of ice crystals to use them as protection or to freeze hedgehogs (to make them unable to move for a short time; this should happen to all hedgehogs that touch the ice even in later turns)
Foam is better.

Disintegration Ray - No effect on hogs, but can dissolve ground from a distance. Such as dissolving the ground above you that will make an enemy hog fall. No movements can be made after use, the turn will end.
Point of View Gun- from HHGttG. Just a fun weapon that will make hogs say some thing funny and releaving. Not a kill weapon.
Tesla Gun - Lighting arch over hills, must be aimed like a mortar. No wind effect, has small target area, but high damage. So your aim has to be right on.
Tidal Wave Machine - Will create a small wave that will wash away any hogs on one shore line. Wave will not go past the first shore line it hits.

Mini Nuke - Special drop, like dynamite, but with a mushroom cloud that will damage and a horizontal pulse that will push back hogs at a certain distance. Possibly off an edge.
Fox Hole - When you have no moves, and are left out in the open, you can hunker down and take 50% less damage until your next turn. Only 1 per team per game.

Fox Hole is like Smaxx's idea for an umbrella. Tesla I saw that on the thread. Ice type guns, though that was not from me.
